Tornado causes damage in Ada, Pontotoc County
Numerous tornado warnings were issued overnight across Oklahoma
A tornado was reported early Tuesday morning in Ada, according to emergency management in the area.
The National Weather Service was tracking the storm around 5:30 a.m.

Damage was caused in the southern part of the city, and the storms prompted several closures and late starts, especially schools.
Fox 25’s morning reporter Jamison Keefover is headed to Ada and has been posting updates on X:

•Ada Public Schools has canceled classes today, citing damage from the storm
•Reports of damage across the city including gas leaks and downed trees and power lines
