Winter Weather Briefing 🧊
Rain, freezing rain, and sleet will impact Oklahoma through Thursday morning.
The biggest impact starts late Tuesday night. Wednesday could be a mess across big chunks of the state. However, this is important to understand: a difference of literally 1 degree at any level of the atmosphere could mean the difference between rain, freezing rain, or sleet.
The National Weather Service Area Forecast Discussion is a terrific weather resource. As of late Monday night, it says that some wintry precipitation could impact northwest Oklahoma before Tuesday but that the impacts would be light if any.

This shows you the winter weather advisory, which starts Tuesday night, Feb. 11.

The relatively quiet churn of an office printer, under a gentle but persistent hubbub of chatter, is the sound of one Oklahoma community preparing for the worst.
In the days following the Inauguration of President Donald Trump, hundreds of members of south Oklahoma City's predominantly Latino immigrant community attended a legal clinic hosted by the Oklahoma Latino Legislative Caucus and other community groups.
They were there to plan for their eventual detainment and removal from the United States as Trump's mass deportation policies are rolled out across the country.
